Guest Blogger: Olivia Sonnichsen
Eight-year-old Olivia is an avid reader. She enjoys any kind of chapter book she can get her hands on. Her favorite part of the day is coming home from school. If it's not a school day, Olivia's favorite thing to do is play computer games.
Today Olivia will be reviewing the book CASTING THE GODS ADRIFT, by Geraldine McCaughrean.
Casting The Gods Adrift is a great book for people intrested in ancint Eygpt. It`s also a book I think people who are intrested in animals would like. This book is a great book if you don't think so,then you can check it out.

awwww. She is so cute! I'm glad you have instilled reading into your children...it is so important! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation, Olivia! I like history and animals. Maybe I'll like it. :o)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Amy...not only reading, but giving reviews, too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOliva, Thanks for the suggestion...I think I'll add that to my 100 book list....which I'm still trying to fill. =)
adorable. I love stories about Egypt ... something to exotic and intriguing about those times.
ReplyDeleteThanks, guys! This cracked me up because she spent WAY more time messing around with the colors of the fonts than writing the actual review. The last one she wrote (ages ago) was super long, so I was expecting something of the same length this time. She hit 'publish post' before I even had a chance to look at it, too. Stinker. :D
ReplyDeleteBut honestly, this is a very well-written book. I read the first two chapters to her and was very impressed with the author's very clear, beautiful prose. Olivia read the rest without me, so now I have to go read it to find out what happens!
