How Can We Help?

I know we've all been thinking and praying a lot about the disastrous effects of Hurricane Sandy on the east coast.

Kidlit writer Jen Malone is hosting a writing/reading-themed auction to help raise money for the Sandy victims. Some of the items on auction already have pretty high price tags, but some don't have many bids yet. It's a great way to raise money for people in need. Please stop by >>HERE<< and check it out! Auction ends on Wednesday, 11/7.

Have you found any other ways to help? Or, if you're on the east coast, how can we help YOU? Please share in the comments!

  1. Kate Messner is also hosting a massive auction to benefit Superstorm Sandy victims at katemessner.com. She's giving away some pretty awesome stuff, including critiques from editors at major houses and a free pass to one imprint's editorial meeting with a PB manuscript (!). Definitely worth a look-see!

  2. That's great--I'll definitely check it out.
We just got power back yesterday, and I feel so badly for the 1000's of people still waiting. I feel like I was mostly just inconvenienced by the storm (I think my blogging and vacuuming and laundry suffered more than I did), but I know it's been life-changing for so many others.

  5. We're going to donate to the Red Cross and then get a company match for them.
