Especially because we didn't get to see them lose. We had DVRed the game and the dashingly handsome sidekick had scheduled a half hour of cushion time at the end. Which usually would have been enough. However, with the lights fiasco, we missed the last four minutes. *sobs uncontrollably*
But at least we got to see all the COMMERCIALS. Here are my faves:
- Leon Sandcastle made me laugh out loud
- Budweiser Clydesdale made me cry (real tears)
- And I wonder how many future YA novels will be inspired by the Audi commercial

ReplyDeleteThe Deion Sander one was good. Two others I liked were the Taco Bell one with the old people and the Doritos one where the Dad and his friends get all princessesy for Doritos.
Yeah, loved the Landslide one! Have always loved that song and then they do that...yup, tears here too!

I didn't watch any of it, but I saw a bunch of commercial hate on Twitter.

ReplyDeleteIt was late here on the East Coast but we watched until the end ... my favorite ad was the Dodge one (words of Paul Harvey). I just loved the focus on farming and family and the less frenetic pace. Old fashioned. Yeah, that's me.
