Spring has arrived!
It's the time of year you can take a book and read anywhere.
Tomorrow is my favorite holiday.
I love it for many reasons (including chocolate!), but this is the biggest one:
"While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, 'Peace be with you.' They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. He said to them, 'Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.' ... Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, 'This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.'"
~ Luke 24: 36-39, 45-47

ReplyDeleteHave fun with the kids!
Your photos are gorgeous, make me long for spring to arrive here. Only the plants believe it has, the rest of us are still wrapped in winter woolies, eating our chocolate!
Happy Easter to you!
ReplyDeleteMe too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you and your family, Amy!
Happy Easter, Amy! It's my favorite holiday, too--though I wish I could be enjoying your nice weather! There are some crocuses popping out here and a few daffodils to keep them company, but it's still chilly New England. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a happy Easter! Those flowers are lovely. I look forward to my tulips blooming!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. I've missed you! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteEven at Christmas, my mother told us, we're an Easter people.
