We Will Not Forget

My seven-year-old son drew these pictures during church this morning.

He wasn't born yet when the 9/11 tragedy struck...
...but he will not forget.

And neither will we.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who lost loved ones in the attacks of September 11, 2001.

  3. Speaking of which, I'm going to be having a contest for kids to design the banner for my web page. More details will be up tonight or sometime this week. The 3 winning children get to have their banner up on my page. They don't have to be fancy, just creative :) They also get their name featured under my blog! Let me know if he'd be up to trying after I get the information up on my blog!

  8. Yes, it is in our memories. Both of mine were little and have no memory of it, but I bought The Man Who Walked Two Towers a year after 9/11 for my husband's birthday. They know what an atrocity was committed that day ... interestingtly, the readings for yesterday were on forgiveness (7x70) ...

    Thanks for sharing, Amy.

  10. Those pictures are so sad, even with the childish scrawl.

  11. I saw him drawing those. He had a great memory to see them on screen for just a few moments and then draw it. We will not forget, that is for sure!
