My seven-year-old son drew these pictures during church this morning.
...but he will not forget.
And neither will we.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who lost loved ones in the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Summer!! has been a crazy whirlwind. Are we actually starting school again in a few weeks? UNBELIEVEABLE. In the middle of June I finished...
Thanks so much for sharing! This day will forever be remembered.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing. That was so awesome of him to draw pictures for you!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, I'm going to be having a contest for kids to design the banner for my web page. More details will be up tonight or sometime this week. The 3 winning children get to have their banner up on my page. They don't have to be fancy, just creative :) They also get their name featured under my blog! Let me know if he'd be up to trying after I get the information up on my blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy .. your son certainly seems to have understood the sequence of events .. he must be quite artistic .. a sad reminder - thank you and I'm glad none of us will forget, Hilary

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Amy.
None of us will forget and (like you do) I hope we teach our children not to either. Thanks, Amy!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are so sad, even with the childish scrawl.
ReplyDeleteWe'll never forget.
I saw him drawing those. He had a great memory to see them on screen for just a few moments and then draw it. We will not forget, that is for sure!
